3Com software update

If you are using a 3Com/HP Wireless Bluetooth PC card or a 3Com Bluetooth USB Port you must update the 3Com Bluetooth software. Updating the 3Com Bluetooth software ensures that the Bluetooth Printer Adapter and your Laptop can communicate properly.

  3Com Bluetooth software update

1. Download the 3Com update to a directory on your computer.
2. Double-click the downloaded file.

3. You will see: "Updating your 3Com software, please wait..."

4. The update checks your system.
5. You will now see one of the following:
   • "You do not need to update. You have the latest version" or
   • "Update successful. You must reboot your computer now"

6. You will now need to reboot your computer.

Caution! Failure to reboot your computer after the update may cause communication errors between the computer and the Bluetooth Printer Adapter.
