FAQ

Why can't I start the DocOut™ service?

If you assign a logon account to the DocOut™ service and the DocOut™ service will not start (you will see an error code 1069), it might be the selected logon account that has no rights to log on as a service. To fix this you have to change your user rights policy.

Windows NT:

  1. Open the User Manager (Start Menu | Programs | Administrative Tools | User Manager for Domains).
  2. Select 'User Rights...' from the 'Policies' menu.
  3. Check the 'Show Advanced User Rights' checkbox.
  4. Select 'Log on as a service' in the 'Right' dropdown list.
  5. Add the users or groups you want to have rights to 'Log on as a service'.

Windows 2000:

  1. Open the User Manager (Start Menu | Programs | Administrative Tools | Local Security Settings).
  2. Select the node 'Security Settings | Local Policies | User Rights Assignment' from the leftmost.tree view.
  3. Double-click 'Log on as a service' in the rightmost list.
  4. Add the users or groups you want to have rights to 'Log on as a service'.
