Overview

DocOut AIX is a software print server designed for the IBM environment. It runs on AIX based servers.

DocOut AIX provides a method to receive host print data (ICDS and IPDS) via TCP/IP and convert host print data to PCL, Postscript or PDF for distribution to existing LAN print devices.

DocOut AIX connects to multiple IBM host and midrange systems, and can process host print input to address the needs of heterogeneous print environments.
