The easiest way to connect your HP LaserJet printer
The EasyCom Xpress EIO is an internal print server for use with HP LaserJet EIO printers. It is available for Ethernet 10/100 or Token Ring 4/16. EasyCom Xpress EIO supports the majority of operating systems and network protocols.
The EasyCom Xpress EIO is based on the Plug & Print concept. When installing the print server, just switch on the power and the installation manual is printed automatically. It can be installed either using a standard web browser, HP Web JetAdmin or the MPI Tech configuration tool, PrintGuide. On-line access to manuals, technical support and upgrades is available world wide.
EasyCom Xpress EIO has an IPP Server built in which means they are prepared for Internet Printing Protocol. Using Windows 2000 or another IPP client your printer can be accessed over the Internet using URIs (Universal Resource Identifiers). With EasyCom Xpress EIO print server you stay connected anywhere.

Substitution strings
Search/Replace. If, for example, the company changes telephone number, you can specify via the web server that the new one should be printed in all documents.
Strings at power on, before and/or after print job
The print servers can send pre-defined settings to the printer, such as the company logo, a particular font or the Euro currency symbol.
E-mail notification
The print servers will notify you when the printer has run out of paper, when there is a paper jam, or in a variety of other situations.
