The easiest way to connect your printer

EasyCom™ III IPDS Matrix is an Ethernet 10/100 single port PrintServer. EasyCom™ III IPDS Matrix supports the majority of operating systems and network protocols. EasyCom™ III IPDS Matrix is easy to install and manage either from a web browser, HP Web JetAdmin, or the supplied PrintGuide™ configuration tool.

Data transfer speeds exceeding 1 MByte/sec to the printer, programmable strings before and after jobs, automatic search and replace on incoming data, user defined queue naming in addition to 10 standard queue names, automatic download of data to printer at power up and status reporting to printer operator and system manager are just some of the useful features in this product.

EasyCom™ III IPDS Matrix is based on MPI Tech's Plug & Print concept. When installing the EasyCom™ III IPDS Matrix, just switch on the power and the installation guide is printed automatically. Online access to manuals, technical support and upgrades are available world wide.

Substitution strings

Search/Replace. If, for example, the company changes telephone number, you can specify via the web server that the new one should be printed in all documents.

Strings at power on, before and/or after print job

The print servers can send pre-defined settings to the printer, such as the company logo, a particular font or the Euro currency symbol.

E-mail notification

The print servers will notify you when the printer has run out of paper, when there is a paper jam, or in a variety of other situations.
