How to configure via the printer's control panel
EIO - Hewlett-Packard
Refer to your printer's manual on how to operate the control panel.
- Power printer on.
- Press the MENU key to the right a number of times until the control panel shows: [EIO #, LinkCom EIO]
- Enable TCP/IP:

- [EIO #, LinkCom EIO] => [CFG TCPIP=YES/NO]
- Set the IP address:
-
- [IP BYTE1 = xx] =>
[IP BYTE2 = xx] =>
[IP BYTE3 = xx] =>
[IP BYTE4 = xx]
- Set the subnet mask:
-
- [SM BYTE1 = xx] =>
[SM BYTE2 = xx] =>
[SM BYTE3 = xx] =>
[SM BYTE4 = xx]
- Set the gateway:
-
- [GW BYTE1 = xx] =>
[GW BYTE2 = xx] =>
[GW BYTE3 = xx] =>
[GW BYTE4 = xx]
- Press GO to set the printer ready again.

- The '#' is the number of the socket holding the PrintServer.
ISP - Lexmark
Refer to your printer's manual on how to operate the control panel.
- Power printer on.
- Press the MENU key to the right a number of times until the control panel shows: [NETWORK MENU].
- Enable the TCP/IP network protocol:

- [NETWORK MENU] => [NETWORK OPTION #] =>
[LinkCom xx MENU #, TCP/IP] => [TCP/IP, Enable TCP/IP]
- Set the IP address:
-
- [LinkCom xx MENU #, TCP/IP] => [TCP/IP, Default IP. Addr.]
- Set the subnet mask:

- [LinkCom xx MENU #, TCP/IP] => [TCP/IP, Default SM]
- Set the gateway:
-
- [LinkCom xx MENU #, TCP/IP] => [TCP/IP, Default Gateway]
- Press GO to set the printer ready again.

- The '#' is the number (1-3) of the socket holding the PrintServer.
