Quick Guide
CAUTION
Static electricity can damage the IPDS DIMM. You should either wear an anti static wrist wrap, or frequently touch the metal surface of the printer.
Printer Memory
Before initial installation, we recommend that you print a configuration sheet to verify that your printer has enough memory to support the IPDS DIMM.
Hardware Prerequisites
Xerox printers
All require 32 MB resident, plus a minimum of 16 MB RAM memory extension.
Network connection
Token Ring or Ethernet card for the Xerox printer.

For installation of your Blue Kit IPDS, please see one of the following references:
- The enclosed Blue Kit IPDS Userīs Guide
- The relevant documentation supplied with your Xerox printer. This documentation can be downloaded from www.xerox.com
Configuration via Web Browser
After http://, type the IP address of the printer in the web browser's Address
or Location box.
Example:
http://2.1.1.140
