I power on the PrintServer and try to get a settings printout but nothing is printed?

You probably did not allow enough time for the PrintServer to auto-configure with the printer and the PrintServer is choking (Sometimes, this could even result in an "Awaiting microcode download" printout). Wait for 30-60 seconds, then press the test button. Also, make sure that the printer is on-line and ready before powering on the PrintServer.
