How to install module kit (IPDS and FSL)

CAUTION
Static electricity can damage the module. Hold the module by the edges only. Do not touch the components or the connections.

Install module kit

1. Disconnect all cables from the box.
2. Place the box with the bottom up and unscrew the 4 screws.
3. Turn the box around removing the lid.
4. Place the Module Kit on the 4 plastic spacers on the interface card. Make sure that the pins on the connector J2 fit correctly.
5. Remount the lid and fasten the 4 screws removed earlier.

1. Power printer off and remove all cables from the interface card.
2. Remove the interface card from the printer's interface slot. Refer to the printer's manual.
3. Place the Module Kit on the 4 plastic spacers on the interface card. Make sure that the pins on the connector J2 fit correctly.
4. Insert the interface card back into the printer and power the printer on.

Verify installation

• Generate a settings printout to verify the installation. Refer to the Quick Guide covering the product in which the module is being installed.
