How to configure the PrintServer using Telnet

Note: Requires that the TCP/IP protocol is configured and that an IP Address has been assigned.

Syntax

telnet <IP Address>

A Telnet session

  1. From the command prompt issue the telnet command.
    Example: telnet 194.192.134.86
  2. The PrintServer will prompt for userid and password. The factory default is adm for both.
  3. Navigate the menus by use of keys and make your modifications as required. The configuration modifications are activated by a Save Configuration and Restart PrintServer.

Navigation keys

Key Action
A, B, ... Select menu and field.
X Return to previous menu or Logout.
Z Return to previous menu without saving.
ENTER Select value.
SPACE Toggle options.
