How to change the PrintServer's password

This enables security and prevents unauthorized access to the PrintServer's configuration.

Note: To enable security, you must change the password from the default; adm. To disable security, change the password back to adm or blank (empty).

1. Display the PrintServer's Advanced Configuration web page
2. Click Password
3. Enter the Old Password and New Password
4. Click Save & Continue

When you enable security, the web browser prompts for authorization. You must enter the user name (always adm) and the password.

Once you are authorized, you can view/edit any number of the PrintServer's configuration pages until you logout. After logout, the web browser prompts for authorization when you try to view/ edit the PrintServer's configuration pages.

Idle users that do not logout are automatically logged out after 10 minutes.
