SNA print does not work on my muliti-port PrintServer?

This may be because you have not assigned a unique Local Address for each of the Logical Printers/ports. Follow the steps below to specify the Local Address.

  1. Start PrintGuide™.
  2. Locate the PrintServer on the list of Detected Devices and double-click it.
  3. Locate and double-click the Logical Printer that match your requirements in terms of both SNA print and printer (output).
  4. In the SNA Print panel specify a Local Address that match the address used on the host. Click OK.
  5. Repeat step 3. and 4. for each of the Logical Printers you wish to use.
  6. On the PrintServer menu, click Save Configuration.
