The Blue Server™ for AIX released

The Blue Server for AIX is now available and completes the range of supported operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris and Linux.

Functions

• Input data streams: AFPDS and IPDS
• Output data streams: PCL, PostScript, TIFF, BMP, PPML and PDF
• Enhanced encrypted PDF generation (security options)
• Fax and E-mail output

• End-to-end control for print error recovery
• Supports Hi-Lite and Full Color modes, including FS45 and Object Containers
• Support for MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) options: tray remapping, stapling, punching…
• 2D Barcode support
• TCP/IP sockets communication
• Configuration via Java Interface
• Multiple session and printer support
• Unlimited number of printers
