The Blue Server™ for Linux released

The Blue Server for Linux is now available and completes the range of supported operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris and AIX.

• Enhanced encrypted PDF generation (security options)

• End-to-end control for print error recovery
• Supports Hi-Lite and Full Color modes, including FS45 and Object Containers
• Support for MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) options: tray remapping, stapling, punching…
• 2D Barcode support
• TCP/IP sockets communication
• Configuration via Java Interface
• Multiple session and printer support
• Unlimited number of printers

The Blue Server for Linux has successfully been verified to operate under the below listed distributions:

• Red Hat Linux (version 9.0 and above)
• Mandrake (Red Hat based - version 10.2 and above)
• SuSE (version 9.3 and above)
