DocOut 4 Linux released

DocOut Linux is developed and verified to operate under Red Hat Linux Ver. 7.3 and 8.0. However, DocOut Linux has successfully been verified to operate also under the below listed distributions:

• Red Hat Linux Ver. 7.3 and 8.0
• Mandrake (Red Hat based)
• SuSE

DocOut Linux is – as the Windows version – configurable via PrintGuide. You will need to install PrintGuide Version 065.330 or higher for DocOut Linux support.

Functions:

• IBM 3812/16, 4028 and IP40 printer emulation
• Mult0iple session and printer support
• PCL, PS and PDF output
• IPDS and ICDS data steam support
• TCP/IP host connection support
• Print via the Linux Spool system
• Configuration via PrintGuide

DocOut Linux is available with IPDS and ICDS support and features the same functions and options as DocOut V4 for Windows version such as:

• Enhanced PDF generation incl. security options
• IPDS Full Color support (Option with PostScript and PDF output) FS45, JPEG and Object Container with Color image
• IPDS Finishing options
• Flexible License options
• IPDS 2D Bar Codes
