MPI Tech Xpress print server range certified as world's fastest

In September 1999, KeyLabs, Inc. performed a throughput comparison of six leading print servers:

• MPI Tech PlusCom™ Xpress
• Intel NetportExpress 10/100
• Hewlett-Packard OfficeConnect 300X
• Axis 5400
• Lexmark MarkNet Pro 3
• Extended Systems ExtendNet 100s

Executive summary

In all test scenarios, the PlusCom™ Xpress out-performed all the other print servers. In some cases it out-performed competitors by more than 300%. To date, this is the fastest LPR throughput we have seen here at KeyLabs.
