MPI Tech offers a wide range of output possibilities from AFP/IPDS and SCS data streams

PCL

Printer Control Language 
A Hewlett-Packard architected printer language that provides an application program to control a range of printer features across a number of printing devices. Printing on a HP LaserJet, DeskJet or other Hewlett-Packard printers requires that the data stream send to the printer is PCL.

PDF

Portable Document Format
An Adobe architected file format, native to the Adobe Acrobat family of products, that enables exchange and viewing of electronic documents independent of the environment in which they were created.

PS

PostScript
An Adobe architected printer language with powerful graphic capabilities. PostScript language describes text and graphics in a device- and resolution-independent manner.

ASCII

American National Standard Code forInformation Interchange
Output data using a minimum of controls that can be interpreted by almost any printer types, typically matrix printers.

ICDS

Internal Compressed Data Stream 
An MPI Tech architected bi-directional host-to-printer data stream that contains both data and controls. ICDS is generated by EPM™ and PSS™ host applications.

E-mail

Electronic mail 
All types of output generated by EPM™ and PSS™ can be e-mailed.

Color

Color 
Color output can be generated by EPM™ and PSS™ when printing PCL, PDF, PostScript or ICDS.
