The EasyCom® 5 PrintServer from MPI Tech offers the best and most sophisticated LAN connectivity and IBM host printing for your matrix printers.

EasyCom® 5 connects to the printer via a USB or a LAN port EasyCom® 5 is fast, flexible and easy to set-up and configure.

EasyCom® 5 is an Ethernet single port PrintServer that supports the majority of operating systems and network protocols.

Turn your matrix printer into an IPDS LAN printer

Enhance the EasyCom® 5 PrintServer with support for IBM host server printing, IPDS, SCS and DCA. Enable the IPDS transforms option on the EasyCom PrintServer to enable host printing via LAN on the matrix printer and turning it into an IBM 4247 IPDS compatible LAN printer. SCS/DCA transforms are also available.

LAN support for laser printers

EasyCom® 5 was originally developed for matrix printers, however, it will connect any printer with a parallel or USB port to a LAN network and can also support laser printers.
