USB based solutions on new HP LaserJet devices

A range of the new HP devices do not include a Host USB port as a standard on the printer. 

There is an optional accessory developed by HP and available through HP dealers/channel: the “HP Internal USB Port Kit" (HP Part Number: B5L28A).

MPI Tech solutions IPDS Blue Kit and IGP kit are compatible with the “HP Internal USB Port Kit” or can be installed directly on USB ports located on the front and/or back of the printer.

Currently these devices are:

• HP Laser M604, M605, M606 and
• HP Color LaserJet M552, M553
